| Dr. Coyne grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from the University of Cincinati College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Minnesota, and he also holds a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Dr. Coyne joined Pediatric and Young Adult Medicine in 1973. His areas of special interest are premature infants, adoption, children with disabilites and adolescent medicine. He and his wife Karen enjoy their seven children and many grandchildren. Dr. Coyne is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
